Redesigned with clear separations for users to jump in, start using, and navigate with ease.
We wanted this configuration process to be fun and easy to try out different look and feel.
At the same time, we wanted the new configurator to include features that add value and ease of use to the entire experience.
Informational modal help to explain the available options and their benefits so the consumers can make a more inform decision.
A feature stakeholders have long desired, it helps both consumers and the business by ensuring the manufacturing team receives an accurate order with matching parts. This process guides consumers to reselect an option from a previous step to ensure alignment with their current choice.
The buying journey is typically long while consumers do their research. We introduced ways to save and organize their designs into projects as well as sharing for feedback.
Knowing the price of the order was top of mind for the consumers we spoke to. Consumers can expand the Estimated Total tray at any time to view all the options they've selected thus far and their cost.
When they've reached the last step, the Estimated Total changes to an Add to Cart button.
KEEPING TRACK
While not yet complete, consumers can see how much their configuration is costing and can tailor their options as needed.
REVIEW & ORDER
This key step allows consumers to verify their custom order before purchase, preventing any surprises or changes later if they unintentionally selected something.
The entire experience was reimaged for mobile and adapted to a smaller viewport. All functionalities and features were kept across devices.
In order for the visualizer to not take up too much room, consumers who want to use it can expand and use the visualizer in a separate environemnt from the selection process.
