TAILORING TO YOUR NEEDS
How would users react to being able to rearrange their accounts on the homepage? Some particpants from our interviews had a high interest, but would everyone make use of this feature?
TEST RESULTS
Not only did almost all users know where to go to access the menu to rearrange their accounts, but many had a positive reaction to being able to do so.
A HOME SCREEN THAT CAN DO MORE
If a user only look at their home screen, we want them to take away with more knowledge than just their balance. Users can now view their recent transactions and pay bills right on the home screen.
TEST RESULTS
Participants understood that tapping on the arrow will open a drawer of some kind that will reveal more information about each respective account.
ACCOUNT OVERVIEW OVERHAUL
Each of the four main account overview screen were redesigned to be more intuitive in what information is displayed and quick actions users can take without having to dig around. They can also search and filter through their transaction history.
Users had trouble finding the “View Statements” button. To combat the visual difficulty, we will aim to make those buttons stand out more in visual design.
ADD EXISTING TOOLS TO THE HOMESCREEN
We tested to see if the existing money management tool is more visible on the homescreen, would users take notice and use it?
TEST RESULTS
In both rounds of testing, our participants noticed the Money Management widget and wanted to interact with it.
BUDGET MONITORING TOOL
A tool we designed for the Curious Novices users who needed more guidance with managing their spending. This tool let users create a goal and monitor their spending against it.
SAVING TOOL
With spending covered, we developed a tool that could teach users the principles and habits of saving money. However, instead of focusing on a large sum, this tool let users set targets for smaller goals.
