My “Stuck on Repeat” Competition Entry

I haven’t participated in a contest in awhile. However, this contest was too awesome to miss out on. This is for Ohh Deer’s Stuck on Repeat Competition. The brief is to design for a notebook and the design will span across the back, spine, and front cover. Check out my entry here and Like if you do!

The design was inspired from a song called Kataomoi (Unrequited Love) by CHARA. It’s a Japanese song that was used in an anime called Kimi ni Todoke which was about two teenagers who like each other but didn’t know how to express it. The show is pretty awesome, but this song’s lyric really got to me. Take a listen while you enjoy my illustration!
